Tandoori Chicken Pizza - The Crowd Pleaser

This is our recipe for the deliciously tasty Tandoori Chicken Pizza - Mmmmmmm....This is always a crowd pleaser.

  1. All our pizza's are made using our homemade pizza dough - recipe here.

  2. Patak's Mango Chutney serves as the base sauce for this pizza. Comes in a jar, or you could make your own 😃

  3. Low moisture, Quality Mozzarella Cheese. We use Puglia Mozzarella Cheese - Made in Australia.

  4. Red onion - Sliced

  5. Tandori Chicken - For this we normally use leftover chicken from a roast or we will just roast a chicken as can use leftovers for sandwiches or more piazza's haha. We then marinade the chicken pieces in Tandoori paste (normally Patak's but we have used a few different brands with similar results, I believe the quality of the Chutney is more important than the Tandoori paste) mixed with some natural yoghurt for a few hours.

  6. Red Capsicum - Sliced thinly

  7. Cashew nuts - Salted or unsalted try both and see which you prefer. We aren't really fussy with brands here.

  8. Cook the pizza (You don't want the oven to be too hot for this one as it is quite loaded with ingredients so can take a bit longer to cook try at around 300 Deg C.

  9. Now once it is cooked add Natural Yogurt and...

  10. Fresh Coriander, we normally chop it.

Precooked - notice the lack of yoghurt and Coriander, add these after you have cooked the pizza.

  • Pizza Dough/Base

  • Mango Chutney as base

  • Mozzarella Cheese

  • Red Onion

  • Tandoori Chicken

  • Red Capsicum

  • Cashew Nuts

  • Cook (300 deg C)

  • Natural Yogurt

  • Fresh Coriander

  • Serve and enjoy!
